Quick Test for No Power Can Measure Voltage
If you've installed the CM-7777HD and it does not appear to function--If you know how to measure voltage, please follow these instructions:
1. Remove the CM-7777HD from the system.
2. Connect the USB power cable to the power adapter to the POWER IN port on the power inserter.
3. Connect a short coax cable to the TO AMP port on the power inserter .
4. The other end of that short coax cable should read about 5VDC from the center conductor to the connector nut.
