A corrupted recording has fragments of other programs and/or recordings integrated into one recording. The recording experiences blocks, garbled audio and possibly no audio.
Corrupted recordings can be caused by signal loss, power outages or deleting multiple recordings without resetting the CM-7000PAL DVR.
Customers can avoid signal loss issues by ensuring they have a correctly pointed antenna, the cable is protected from damage from lawn equipment, animals and the elements, and all cable connections are secure. To prevent this problem from reoccurring, delete the events starting at the top, and then reset the CM-7000PAL after deleting each event. This may save from having to delete everything that is stored.
1. Unplug the CM-7000PAL DVR from the AC electrical outlet, plug the CM-7000PAL DVR back in and power it on.
2. If the event is still present after resetting the receiver, replay the event. If the issue still remains, delete the event.
