The time listed in the Electronic Program Guide is different than the actual time.
Zip code and/or Time Zone are entered incorrectly?
The Zip Code Setup in the menus should have the correct zip code that the customer resides in. The Set Time Zone in the menus should also have the correct time zone you live in.
1. Do you have the correct time zone and zip code inputted with in the menu?
Input the customer's correct zip code in the Zipcode Setup portion of the menus. Enter the customer's correct Time Zone in the Set Time Zone portion of the menus.
The CM7000PAL uses the data from each individual channel to determine time and it can vary from channel to channel. Each channel data carries info specific to that channel, so it can vary when changing channels. This is totally dependent on what the TV Station transmits.
3. Unplug the CM-7000PAL DVR from the AC electrical outlet, plug the CM-7000PAL DVR back in and power it on. Tune to one of the major networks. They usually have correct time transmitted.
