The Remote for my Rotator Does not Work. (CM-9521 & CM-9537)

Check/replace the batteries.

Ensure Control Unit is set to HH1 setting per the instructions.

Remove the power from the (CM-9521 or CM-9537) control unit for at least 10 seconds. Plug the power back in to the Controller. It should immediately read out H60, HH1, and then 000. (Or any other 3 digit number.) It will then turn off. If it is set to HH2, then the included remote will not command the control unit. 

To set the control unit to HH1, do the following. 

Disconnect the power from the rear of the (CM-9521 or CM-9537) control unit for at least 10 seconds. Now press and hold the /\UP button and the Sync button on the front panel of the control unit. While continuing to press and hold the buttons, plug the power back into the control unit. 

Now you can release the buttons.  To confirm HH1; Remove the power from the (CM-9521 or CM-9537) control unit for at least 10 seconds. Plug the power back in to the Controller. It should immediately read out H60, HH1, and then 000. (Or any other 3 digit number.)
